We had our firm holiday party there on Friday afternoon. The wait staff was friendly and attentive and made suggestions as needed. We had a private room and a prix fixe menu. The drinks and appetizers (shrimp cocktail, fried calamari and antipasti) were tasty and started the party off right! We moved into a soup and salad course, just right. Our entrees were roasted free bird chicken, seabass, scallops or ribeye, served with sides of whipped potatoes, fried brussels sprouts and triple cheese macaroni. All were delicious and cooked to perfection! Finished the meal with dessert of apple cobbler, key lime pie and chocolate hazelnut mousse - fantastic! We were not rushed and were able to talk, laugh, and enjoy each other's company. We will be back!
Incredible food and service! It's definitely a place for a date night or a special celebration! The private room is incredible for a private event. The outdoor fireplace is super romantic. Favorites: Beef carpaccio, French onion soup and the desserts are just incredible each and every single one of them, but the chocolate toured was my favorite.
My husband and I went there Saturday night for our anniversary, everything was lovey. The atmosphere was perfect, the piano player, the lighting, and fireplace. The food was perfectly cooked and presented, not over sauced, my pet pevee. Our server was friendly and helpful. I can't say enough of how everything blended to make our night perfect. Chef Eddie out did himself. Karen P.
3.5 stars for me. This place is a great local upscale American/steakhouse. Staff was very nice to our group. We had the calamari as our appetizer; it was a nice start. My friend had the dry-aged (unique) chicken and said it was very good. It was a huge portion for sure. I had a NY strip for $52 which is on par with other local steakhouse prices. I think their menu isn't very unique. It is kind of basic to me and nothing really stands out. My steak was great and worth the price. Again, service was very good.
Upscale American restaurant with a rotating/seasonal menu that was rated as the 10th best restaurant in NOVA by NOVA Magazine! Indoor and covered outdoor seating, and well as bar seating as well Although the menu is seasonal they still have a ton of different options. I came here with my GF after she successfully defended her PhD dissertation! I had a filet and she had the salmon, and we really enjoyed both of our dishes! We also each had a cocktail as well, and we both thought that our respective drinks were solid. Solid drink selection and complimentary bread + butter Very friendly waiter, but food took a little while
I wanted a quiet, nice meal and this place provided exactly that as I sat at the bar. The bartender was attentive yet also not overly imposing. Service overall was great! I ordered a drink that I thought I'd like, but just wasn't for me. I believe the manager came by to ask how I was doing and noted that unfortunately the drink wasn't my cup of tea and without hesitation, the bartender helped switch it out for something to my liking. Food wise - solid, but not necessarily going to blow your socks off. The highly touted nachos are good, but perhaps described in a way where you have higher expectations. The bison was something that intrigued me and was enjoyed with the hash. Ideally I would give this a 4.5, not quite the 5. However, this is a place where you can get a good meal, great service, and an overall enjoyable evening. One to keep on the list to visit.
Visited this restaurant again the other night and another superb experience. Our waiter Antonio was fantastic and the service was perfect. The food was delicious. I ordered the Seafood Cioppino and my wife ordered the Filet Mignon. We finished the night off with Apple Cobbler. Great time, great environment.
Highly recommend this place! We've been here once before and came back for the French onion soup honestly. All the food has been spot on. I will say I think the scallops were slightly overpriced but they were absolutely delicious. We split French onion soup to start, I got the scallops and my partner got the pappardelle Bolognese. Her pasta paired beautifully with the $59 bottle of Pinot noir we got. Our server was excellent, personable and friendly. We also had who I presume was a manager pop by our table twice. We also had someone on water service. The place is low lit and has darker color scheme. Doesn't bother me, but isn't everyone's cup of tea. It feels more intimate I think because of the low light. Also they have a heated covered patio. This features an actively lit fireplace. The guest out there seemed to be more than comfortable. You'll spend a good chunk of change here but I'd say it's worth it.

Our server, Alex, delivered exceptional service--attentive, amiable, and quick-paced. His recommendations and menu knowledge heightened our inaugural visit, making it truly exceptional. The customer service here is truly remarkable. We savored the complimentary bread, relished in oysters Rockefeller, indulged in house-made gnocchi, enjoyed the halibut fish special, and savored the braised short ribs, accompanied by a selection of delightful drinks. The food choices were outstanding, the menu extensive yet well-balanced, and the prices reasonable. Eager to explore more menu items, we highly recommend this establishment and look forward to our next visit!
